Alhaji Sambo Garba, MON is an astute, accomplished and versatile entrepreneur in the Nigerian economy. He began his career in the public sector with the Securities and Exchange Commission for almost a decade where he was responsible for, among other things, monitoring all securities transactions and ensuring compliance with provisions of the Investment and Securities Act.
After a spell in public service, Alhaji Sambo moved to the private sector. He is, today, a successful businessman with interest in many sectors such as real estate, agriculture, agriculture commodities trading, investment banking, mining, and the financial services sector.
He has successfully set up a number of thriving businesses that continue to employ a number of Nigerians and directly impact the Nigerian economy; which include Bima Shelter Ltd, a leading and foremost real estate company in Nigeria, Triple G Merchants, one of the top 10 Nigerian agricultural commodities exporters, Bima Mines, Chemcraft Nigeria Ltd. and a host of other businesses. He is also a Director in Credent Capital & Investment Ltd. and an Executive Director in GSCL Ltd.
Alhaji Sambo is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, he holds an MBA degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano.
By virtue of his multitudinous and multifarious contribution to the development of the Nigerian economy, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, in September 2022, awarded him with the Prestigious National Honour of ‘Member of the Order of the Niger’ (MON). He also holds the traditional title of Sardaunan Gusau.
